Herbs as Potent Medicines
The dietary implementation of herbs as potent medicines has made a prominent comeback. More people are interested again in getting to know what’s growing right outside the front door or stored at the local natural market instead of solely relying on commercialized resources. We continue to see how waves of ancestral practices fade in and out of existence at the ripe opportune moments to balance the usage of modernized synthetic remedies. Fortunately, there are a variety of herbal application methods that have been restored over the generations and still found effective today. After all, the plants in a sense are our external organs from which we receive macrocosmic nourishment along the vital planetary circuits, such as with the sun and moon.

Herbalism invites us into a world of discovery as we engage in a working relationship with planet Earth to grow and learn as we go. The field of herbal studies is ever-evolving just as the planet is and we are as a species. There’s always more to know. Which brings us to the sacred ancient concept of, ‘As Above, So Below,’ that was said to have first been introduced in the ‘Emerald Tablets’ of Hermes Trismegistus. In other words, if it exists out there is must also exist within considering how universally interconnected we all are. The consultation is oriented in such a way where we explore these elemental foundations as guidelines for recommended herbal applications and supplements while understanding how their unique qualities can work with the energetics of your constitution. Like all relationships, the ones with plants are mutually beneficial and there are diverse ways to work with them. It is a blessed and sensual human experience to commune with the natural environment in these ways because it’s through the senses we enliven our innate abilities to regenerate.
